Although we offer Web Service APIs for both SOAP and ReST protocols, we recommend using ReST.

Why? Because they are easier to build and offer results that are easier to read. ReST is lighter weight and less complex, giving you a more user-friendly experience overall. Isn't that what it's all about? In fact, eventually we will be moving away from SOAP entirely so choose the ReST APIs if you can.

The Web Service APIs are not for everyone, as they require both engineering resources and expertise in working with Web Service APIs. Commission Junction provides the Web service APIs and detailed documentation, but it is up to you to integrate them in meaningful and productive ways for your program and publishers.
