Missouri – It has recently come to our attention that Missouri may now consider having an affiliate program with participants that reside in the state of Missouri as constituting a physical presence. Visit www.cj.com/news/internet_tax.html for details.

Hawaii's Internet retail tax bill, 1405, has been passed by the House and Senate. If Governor Linda Lingle doesn't veto by July 15th it will likely become law. Commission Junction strongly encourages you to send a letter of opposition to Governer Lingle.

North Carolina's budget tax bill now includes "affiliate nexus" language which may be voted on as early as July.

Rhode Island's budget tax bill now includes "affiliate nexus" language.
