SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – June 25, 2002 – Commission Junction www.cj.com, a leader in pay-for-performance marketing, announced today that it has named Eric Robison, who is a seasoned consumer marketing and advertising executive and consultant to Fortune 500 software and media companies, to its board of directors.

"Robison brings a wealth of experience in software and advertising to Commission Junction that will significantly contribute to the board's efforts as we lead the company toward continued growth and profitability," said Lex Sisney, co-founder and chairman of the board, Commission Junction.

Robison joins existing directors Dennis Cagan, chairman and CEO, Santa Barbara Technology Group, LLC; Thomas Hitchner, founder and general partner, QuestMark Partners, LP; Howard Morgan, vice-chairman, idealab!; Richard Mueller, CEO, Weslock International; and Brian Steel, managing director, idealab!.

Robison served as vice president, business and project development at Vulcan, Inc., the managing company of business interests for investor Paul G. Allen. He has an extensive background in software and consumer marketing management having held senior management positions at Ashton-Tate and Denny's, as well as several advertising agencies, including McCann Erickson, Doyle Dane Bernbach and Foote Cone and Belding. Robison has also consulted for Microsoft, Coca Cola, VisiCorp, Microrim and Norton Utilities.

Robison has previously served on five public boards and more than 10 private company boards. Since 1994, he has served on the board of directors of CNET Networks (NASDAQ: CNET), a top-ten Internet company, and he is also on the board of Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) which owns and operates 226 radio stations in 45 markets.

Robison holds a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies with a minor in music from California State University, Sacramento, and a master of administration in general management from the University of California, Davis.
