News & Events CJU 2009 CJU 2009 Commission Junction University (CJU) is the first-of-its-kind industry conference for affiliate marketing and has been held annually in Santa Barbara, California, for more than a decade. CJU 2009 was held September 15-17.

Thanks to everyone who was able to join us for CJU 2009 in Santa Barbara this year. To all of you who could not make it, we hope to see you next year!

CJU 2009 was certainly The Place to Affiliate. Attendees had schedules jam packed with three days of networking and informative sessions, making it a can't miss event in 2009. Here's a quick recap of some of the events:

Keynote Speaker Jackie Huba

  • Our keynote speaker, Jackie Huba, spoke to the audience about the power of the "1 percenters." From Motrin to Baconnaise, she shared real life stories of how online communities are acting as the new citizen marketers.

  • CJ GM Kerri Pollard took the stage and talked about the evolution of affiliate marketing, and the future of our industry.

  • We had 12 additional sessions that offered insight into everything from the Advertising Tax to Coupons to Network Quality and more.

CJYou Awards Dinner Sunset

  • The CJYou Awards were given to our rising stars! We invite you to check out all of our winners on the "Award winners" tab above.

  • The weather was beautiful and the networking was unreal! From Expo to sessions, from the Godric Grove Welcome Reception to the Tonic After-Party, everyone had a great time meeting with industry peers and talking passionately about their businesses.
