We’re so excited about the networking opportunities of CJU, we wanted to start immediately. As soon as you register you can now join an online community called THE CJUniverse. From here you can set up a profile, arrange meetings, find people with similar interests, and schedule your CJU agenda. Imagine how successful you’ll be at CJU when you’ve already had months to prep!

THE Zone

There never seems to be enough room for meetings during CJU downtime. And how do you meet up with a new contact when you don’t know what they look like? Well, we’re making it even easier to schedule and have meetings in our new meetings space: THE Zone. Here you can check in, grab a table, find your contacts, and enjoy food and beverage while you do business.

THE Expo

There is no better place to put THE Network Effect into action than at THE Expo. On Day One of CJU we put advertisers, publishers, agencies and CJ divisions together for the ultimate “meet and greet.” This year’s Expo continues with the momentum of last year, including more vendors, food, and even cocktails.

THE Beach Party

We’ve finally done it. After years of looking at the beach, we will finally be on it. So walk right across the beach for our Welcome Reception: THE Beach Party. Grab your flip flops, and soak up the negative ions. We’ll have all the great things from previous year’s parties – drinks, entertainment, and food – just add sand.

THE Cocktail Hour & 1/2

After 2 full days of hard work, the Cocktail Hour & 1/2 on Wednesday gives you a much needed break to take in the beauty of Santa Barbara. Set on the grassy lawn at Fess Parker with the ocean just a stone’s throw away, this is the perfect place to wind down, have some signature cocktails, and enjoy the company of your fellow marketers.

THE CJYou Awards Dinner

One of the most celebrated events of CJU, THE CJYou Awards dinner is a fantastic excuse to get dolled up and have some fun. This year we have included some exciting entertainment to add even more to this don’t miss event. The CJYou Awards are a toast to those who truly make THE Network Effect flourish. So get out your CJYou Award Prediction Ballot and queue up who you think might take home the prize in the following categories:

THE After Party

It’s the sought after event for our late nighters – THE After Party. Grab the shuttle and head downtown Santa Barbara for a party that is sure to last until the wee hours of the morning. This is your chance to see your fellow attendees (and CJ staff) let their hair down and take their ties off.

THE Late Nite Food Court

Now don’t forget we still have content on Thursday, which means you need to try and stave off THE After Party hangover. And what better way to do that than with some delicious late night food? Join us at the Fess Parker for THE Late Nite Food Court – sure to delight your senses. Trust us, your stomach, and your head, will thank us in the morning.
