It is a pay-per-click model where the advertiser pays a fixed price per click depending on the product's main category. The listings are imbedded between true organic results.

How YSSP Works
CJ Search is one of only a handful of certified Yahoo! Search Submit Pro partners. Our feeds team has
undergone a rigorous certification process which allows us to work directly with Yahoo!. Using proprietary technology, we take a feed of your site data, optimize it specifically for the program, and submit it to Yahoo! for inclusion in its index. Since the listings are optimized before an algorithm is created, YSSP listings have a better chance of being positioned above listings created from a Web crawler or spider.
